SEX
There is more to role-play or virtual sex than pixel-grinding and and endless stream of moaning "ooooooohhhh." In order to make the experience more enjoyable and stimulating for both parties, an effort should be made to incorporate role-play, imagination, and stimulation at the same time.
ANIMATION AND IMAGINATION
In short, if you are relying on animations alone to engage in sexual role-play, you're doing it wrong. Not only that, but you are robbing yourself and your partner any chance of actually enjoying the act as intensely as they could be. Don't believe me? In the real world the entire industry of Pornography is built around the selling of fantasies. What are fantasies but products of the imagination? Sex is more than just a physical or emotional act, but an intellectual one too. It is possible that you can become as aroused with someone in the virtual world as you can in the real world, if you remember to use your imagination as well as your vocabulary in the heat of the moment.
Of course, sex in role-play is more than just words. No one ever just talks all the way through sex. Similarly few say nothing at all, even in the case of forced sex. Simply put, the act of sex requires you to both talk and do, not just one or the other. The only exception perhaps is when one participant is gagged or unconscious, but even then physical movements, thoughts, or expressions can still be posted in order to contribute something beneficial to the scene.
Good Example: /me reaches out to caress her silky soft skin with outstretched fingers, pure lust burning in his eyes. He leaned closer. "Are you free tonight, baby?" he cooed.
Bad Example: want sex?
Good Example: /me arches his back and lets out a low guttural moan as he empties his load inside of her. "Fuck yes," he pants, his breaths fast and ragged.
Bad Example: cums inside.
Generally speaking, it is considered bad manners to reply with simple words (instead of actions and words) in order to give your partner something other than your pixel bits to play with. Flooding chat with "oooh" and "fucks harder" isn't just boring, it isn't stimulating either. You may as well be watching paint dry instead.
Good Example: /me writhes beneath his weight, her body jolting with dull thuds into the cool metal of the car hood. "Oh- yes!" she manages to cry out, and reaches for his strong shoulders.
Bad Example: yes baby, like that. Harder.

Sometimes a scene will call for a movement or action that cannot be made. Animations can be limiting when compared to the real-life possibilities of sex. That is where emoting as shown above can compensate and fill that void, potentially increasing your enjoyment of virtual intimacy.
RAPE OR FORCED SEX
Rape or "forced" fantasies are common in Second Life. Unlike the real world, consent must first be given in-world, either verbally OOC (out-of-character) or unspoken via use of one of the many transmitters, collars and huds on offer. Just because you can select anyone you like and know they will be a "willing" victim, it seems few actually relish in their role as predator. Generally speaking, many use these predator trackers and prey transmitters as an easy way to hook up or have casual sex. In Stormy Valley, we aim to bring a hefty dose of reality back and give the potential attacker more of a challenge in his would-be sexual encounters.
The use of transmitters or trackers is not necessary and an optional component in this particular role-play. Similarly it is worth stressing that not everyone in the community is eagerly looking for sex with anyone, so do not treat it as your personal dating service.
Stormy Valley is a living, working, functioning small town that relies on both residents and visitors to maintain day-to-day life. The lady working behind the counter is not there to be your personal and immediate sex slave. But if you use your imagination, some planning, and a degree of cunning, you can still force her to have sex with you by grabbing her as she makes her way home from work.
You cannot and should not grab people from their place of work to kidnap, rape or torture unless it is part of a "bigger" role-play, and by that I mean involving police, or another party to witness, intervene, or get caught up in the drama. Again, Stormy Valley is not a place for easy hook-ups and casual sex for strangers. You can meet and mingle in the local Thunder Bar, taunt and tease at the adult XXX Club Red, or even sell yourself as a local hooker (and hope you don't get arrested by the local law enforcers!) and earn your rent servicing strangers in the car-park or Motel 66, but you are strongly discouraged from casual random sex in public places where, in reality, public sex would not be allowed if you were discovered.
Of course, as with any role-play you maintain the right to decline sex with anyone (so long as you are not using a "victim" transmitter), but those found to be continually denying sex to anyone without due cause may find themselves ejected from the Sim, group, and community altogether. It stands to reason a married woman with a protective husband may find she is somewhat immune to certain dangers, but that doesn't make her, or her husband for that matter, completely invincible. No one is, not even the would-be rapist.
HARD LIMITS
Sex for everyone is different. Rather, what one person finds arousing, another may not like. For this reason it is strongly encouraged that those residing within the Stormy Valley community create a profile pick named 'Hard Limits', and listing what they will or will not do in a sexual capacity.
An example would be: Like foot fetish. Will not do water-sports/scat play.
You don't have to be graphic, but just give enough information to let others know what you may enjoy and what you absolutely will not tolerate.
If you do discover something you don't like during the role-play itself, message the other party immediately and explain. Any mature-minded person will understand. Those that don't are not worth your time and you should avoid anyway. Remember that sex, whether forced or consensual, is supposed to be somewhat or an enjoyable experience to you as the role-player (perhaps not so much your character though!)
AGAIN, AS IT SHOULD BE STRESSED, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ANYONE ALLOWED TO PERFORM SEX ON, WITH, OR AROUND PRIM BABIES OR PRIM CHILDREN. SEX IS TO BE BETWEEN ADULT AVATARS ONLY. ANYONE CAUGHT BREAKING THIS RULE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY EJECTED, BANNED, AND REPORTED!
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
The ONLY place in town where rampant nudity and public sex is both accepted and encouraged is 'Club Red' located above the 'Thunder Bar' (the tallest building located in the 'urban' area of town with the flat black roof). Here you can strip off or stay clothed, dress in sexy costume, or show off your physical assets, all out of public view. Have a drink at the bar. Have discreet one-on-one sessions in the "private" corner booths (touch the curtains to close behind you). Wrap yourself around the pole while people stare and throw money at you. Have an orgy right there on the floor. Anything's possible in Club Red so long as it's "legal". Of course, if you're caught with livestock, or someone runs to the Sheriff screaming rape, well... that's a whole different matter...
There are several places throughout town where you can have a "quickie" if no one is around. The public dumpsters located behind the bar/Club Red, and below in the Underground Car Park, both have sex/forced menus. So do the trash cans at the foot of the stairs of the same Car Park, and two vehicles parked inside. If you're unlucky and your arresting officer is having a particularly bad day, you may find yourself testing the springs of the beds in the Jail Cells, or the Wanted poster in the booking and processing room. The Sheriff's desk has a built-in sex-menu too, but be wary. If he catches you... well... how the Sheriff enforces the law is his prerogative. It's his precinct after all.
The Graveyard has built-in sex-menus. The cabinet in the Subway Ticket Booth has a sex-menu. The Male Toilets in the Subway is almost all sex-menu, including the toilets, urinal, and the wall between the toilet stalls as well (the sinks, bin, and mirror are not). There are MANY places throughout the town where you can have sex. Public sex is not discouraged so long as you maintain realism. If you are engaging in forced sex play and someone crosses your path, either stop and "run away" or incorporate the intrusion in to your story. Rapes MAY be witnessed and you MAY be arrested if caught red-handed so to speak.
The ONLY place where sex is NEVER EVER allowed is the Daycare Center. This should be for obvious reasons. The Daycare Center is a place where prim-babies/prim-children are looked after while their parents or caregivers are at work or busy elsewhere. It is not a place to have sex with anyone, adult or prim. Anyone caught deliberately naked, either fully or partially, or is found to be engaging in sexual acts or conversation inside the Daycare center will be ejected, banned, and if required, reported to Linden Labs.
You CAN role-play as a hooker/prostitute/call girl/escort etc. Granted these professions are generally "illegal" so expect to get charged or arrested if the local Sheriff or his officers notice. The Motel Rooms CAN be used for sex, or random hook-ups with strangers. As far as payment goes, implied payment if preferred to avoid possible problems, but if you wish to ask for actual Lindens for sex, by all means do so. Remember use of the Motel Rooms is NOT free. Use of the items around town IS free but you run the risk of being caught and/or charged/arrested.
Sex, rape, and violence CAN occur inside private rentals. As with any role-play, ensure your character is free to do so before commencing or as soon as possible. No one (except prim-babies or prim-children) is safe inside Stormy Valley and anyone can be a potential target. Maintain realism and do not powergame. Role-play is a two-way-street after all.
